Apple will be launching the iPhone 5C in an 8GB iteration tomorrow (March 18th), after a photo with the 5C packaging was leaked to Engadget.
Being Apple’s “more affordable” iPhone, the 8GB version should come in at a price that will attractive to more consumers. According to reports it will be about 60 euros cheaper, which is approximately $92 CAD and $83 USD.
The release date of March 18th is according to a German report, stating that it will be released tomorrow to consumers. We can expect that it will launch in other parts of the world as well.
With the iPhone 4S being free on carriers for most customers, we expect that could also be a free iteration on 2 year contracts. We expect that the Canadian carriers who currently distribute the iPhone will also have this in their inventory soon.
