HTC One Android 4.4 Update Is Rolling Out To Canadians Today

Good news for Canadians using the HTC One. The update to Android 4.4 has finally started rolling out across major Canadian mobile carriers.

Currently, Rogers, Bell, Virgin, TELUS, SaskTel and WIND have been receiving updates. To update, simply go to Applications –> Settings –> About Phone –> Software Update.

Canadians are receiving the update before the American release. HTC had promised an update in 90 days to American devices, but that has been pushed back to a later date. We anticipate that the update will roll out American carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile within the next few weeks.
