PayPal Credits Man $92 Quadrillion Accidentally

paypalerror

Would you be shocked if you opened your PayPal account and found $92 quadrillion credited to your account? Chances are, the answer is yes.

That’s what happened to Chris Reynolds when he opened his June statement in his PayPal account. $92,233,720,368,547,800 was credited to his account.

But he knew something was up, and the next time he logged into his account, it was back at $0.

So much for the sudden wealth.

“This is obviously an error and we appreciate that Mr. Reynolds understood this was the case,” PayPal said in a statement.

However, PayPal said that for this error, they will donate an unspecified amount of money to a charity of his choosing.
