Review: Brave Commando (iOS)

I have been an Apple user for almost 6 years and have used countless apps. The Brave Commando App is an app I would like to discuss today.

I have played many games on my iOS device but I can’t compare it to any of them. This game’s design seems as if it was made from the program scratch. The character design, background and gameplay is too lacking to consider it as a fun app. Also, the app is controlled by how you move the iPhone. It doesn’t have the setting to re-calibrate the movement, which makes it very unresponsive. There isn’t even a main menu when you load the app. The app will just jump right into the game without even teaching you how to play. Overall, design-wise I find it can be more improved and well thought of.

First of all, I would improve on the texture of the game. The characters and background shouldn’t feel like it was worked on in Paint. Secondly, there should be a main menu for the app to allow players to learn the game, calibrate device and even change the sound volume. Lastly, some more effort should be put into this app. When I first used it, it didn’t feel like an app that would satisfy me very much because of the gameplay and art.

Our Verdict:

The game does need a major revamp. However, with some time, I believe this game could be improved, and could appeal to more customers in the future.

RATING: 5.3/10
