Apple always comes up with creative advertisements for their iDevices. And today was no different. Apple unveiled two brand new TV commercials to advertise their iPad Mini. These commercials come strategically come around Remembrance Day/Veterans Day, as well as close to the American Thanksgiving holiday. The style showcases the regular iPad next to the iPad Mini, similar to the 1st iPad Mini commercial they aired.
This commercial showcases the Photo app. Featuring Two of a Kind by Bobby Darin, Apple shows off photos, each being almost an extended picture of each other, as the picture looks like it’s expanded from the iPad to the iPad Mini. It’s really simplistic, yet really effective. Imagine how long it took for those photos to be perfect.
The next commercial showcases the iBooks app. Again with the same style as the previous iPad Mini add, it showcases books on both the iPad with Retina Display, and the iPad Mini. Again, another really simple advertisement and is really effective from a marketing point of view.
The commercials have started to be seen in the USA, but I have yet to see them here in Canada yet.
