Apple To Release An Improved iPad With Lightning Connector and Support For Global LTE Next Week?

With Apple’s media event coming up on October 23rd, Apple will possibly be launching the iPad Mini, and other iMac computers. As well, there are reports that they will also release an updated version of their iPad 3rd generation. It is reportedly going to retain the same price point at $519, $619, and $719 for the WiFi version, and $649, $749, and $849 for the WiFi + Cellular version here in Canada.

This updated iPad will feature the new lightning connector, similar to the iPhone 5, iPod Touch, and the new iPad Nano. Reports have also indicated that the iPad will be fixed to support global LTE for the UK, such as in the new iPhone 5, according to a report from The Guardian.

According to this product listing from 9to5Mac, the SKUs indicate the new full size iPads.
