Google released a pretty cool video today entitled “Project Glass,” and this is no late April Fool’s trick…it’s a potential reality. This video is shot in first-person, and represents how a person would see through them and the capabilities that they would have. It’s cool no doubt!
On the new Google+ Project Glass page, is states:
We think technology should work for you—to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t. We started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment.
According to the video, we see features such as weather, video chatting, geo-locating, messaging, and much more features from Google’s wide variety of services. One cool feature is a built-in GPS, to tell you directions from street to street. That’s more practical than bringing around a GPS locator in the streets.
